Biosfir Indonesia is the program name for two marine conservation projects based in Indonesia, a country with more than 17,000 islands and uncharted biodiversity.

The first is a project to protect endangered sea turtles in the Anambas Islands. The second is a project to preserve Menjangan Islands’ coral reef located within Bali Barat National Park.

Sailing yacht Mir, a 113’ ship, is used in service of Biosfir Indonesia’s programs. Mir’s homeport is Raffles Marina, Singapore.

Biosfir Indonesia is a program of Biosphere Foundation (BF), a US 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. BF’s other marine-related projects include Studio of the Sea and the Planetary Coral Reef Foundation (PCRF).
